Ocean Seafood (has a branch in Downtown East- known for its overpriced seafood fare)
Seafood Fried Rice ($5): tasty. Nothing extraordinary.
Salted Fish Fried Rice ($4): Acceptable.
Haron Satay and Chicken Wings:
Honey bbq Chicken wings ($1.50 each)
Went to this place specifically for Ahmad Spring cause of the positive reviews I've heard but the shop wasn't open then. Had to settle with this cause it's the only stall selling bbq chicken wings. Please avoid it. Chicken were cold and stale. Definitely not fresh. Ended up wasting the food. (tenderfresh is way better) HORRIBLE!!!!
Stall beside Ocean Seafood (Can't remember the name) Beef Satay ($7/10pcs): REALLY GOOD! So juicy and tender and packed with flavours! (No fats at all- just the way I like it!)
I did not really enjoy my trip down to East Coast Lagoon Food Village cause the food is mediocre now (standards have plummeted drastically since the last time I came here). There are better hawker centres around. But I will come back foe the divine satay. (I initially wanted to eat just two sticks but ended up eating way more than that!)
