Kowloon Express: Halal Dim Sum

Clockwise: Salted Egg Custard Pao ($1.50 each), Prawn Treasure ($2.80 for 3), Shrimp Beancurd ($2.80 for 3)
Centre: Shrimp Har Gow ($2.60 for 3)

Salted Egg Custard: First time trying this and it's so gooey! (See pic below) delicious!
Prawn Treasure: the Whole prawns add to the flavour! But sorta like the common Yong Tau Foo ingredient
Shrimp beancurd: tastes good but again, like YTF ingredient
Shrimp Har Gow: a little too small (maybe cause they included whole shrimp instead of minced Shrimp), the skin is a little tasteless (taste good with the chilli dip!)
Oozy gooey goodness!

Worth trying! And really affordable too. It's a take-away booth so strictly no eating there and then. I hope they expand to a decent sized eating place!
I prefer the Dim Sums at Tang Tea for their wider range of variety but this is good too!

(The name brings fond memories of my family trip to Hong Kong back in 2009 when we stayed at Tsim Sha Shui which is part of Kow Loon)

Cake Love

Creme Brulèe ($5.80): so goooood!
Heaven and Hell ($9.80): the lava cake is reallyyyy indulging and satisfying. All the oozy goodness! The other, not so satisfying, but it's a unique dessert so no harm trying!

(P.s their ice water is chargeable at $0.70 a glass)

Nabins @ Sultan Gate

Vanilla Milkshake ($6.90)- similar to Macs
Ice Lemon Tea ($2.50)
Lemonade ($2.50)
Wedges ($4.90)- really worth it cause LOOK AT THE SERVING SIZE!
Hummus Babaganoush ($6.90): WORST DISH EVER!!!! DO NOT TRY THIS. Babaganoush, a traditional eggplant dip, is in fact a mere cucumber and tomatoes salsa here. Hummus tasted like baby food; extremely disgusting.
Lamb with Basmati rice ($16.90)- I did not try this cause I don't eat lamb but my friend really enjoyed this a lot!
Seasoned chicken with Basmati rice ($12.90): this is essentially Briyani rice and curry chicken. Horrible.
Falafel ($5.60) HORRIBLE!!!! So dry and tasteless! Falafels are supposed to be moist and crispy and light. This is just disgusting
Chicken drumlets ($7.90): a little dry but really good
Our spread of food costing up to $87.

FIX Cafe

Chicken Tikka Naanwich: ($11) the oozing egg! Such a photogenic dish! Had difficulty eating it cause the naan is impossible to slice. The flavours infuse well, but a little too overwhelming after awhile.
Small nachos (free): not sure if this is permanent but I was given this free nachos appetizer and it's such a delightful complimentary (cause I love cheese so much!)
STAR OF THE SHOW!!!! Crispy Soy Drumlets ($7): super juicy and tender meat with crispy and flavour-packed coat. MUST TRY!
Main + $2 for drink!
Butterscotch Arabica Choux ($6): such an interesting dessert! Worth trying. For chocolate lovers

The service was acceptable although some of the waiters couldn't care less about customers. Great view of the pool!
I will return for the soy wings.

Considered relatively affordable! Really hope they expand and set up a cafè (the journey to his (yes, the baker is a guy) house was so arduous)

Good luck securing a slot!!!
